[ Ah, what a proper letter! Orihime imagines that this Maki Nishikino is high class. Orihime needs to put her best manners on, if that's a thing. It's nice to hear that this sounds like someone from home, too. Well--a version of home. ]
Nishikino-san,
It's surprising how quickly time flies. Are you looking forward to the leaves changing colors? I think it's beautiful to go for walks during autumn.
I'm so glad to hear you enjoyed them! And Paris, wow! That's amazing.
[ Maki would certainly be happy that she gave that impression! And for some reason, given the polite response, she can't help but write a little more... ]
Inoue-san,
I truly do love the autumn, with the changing of leaves and cool breezes and all. Summer is the best time for fun, but Autumn reminds me of the composer Johannes Brahms and his works that give a true autumnal feel. It's also when tomatoes planted in late summer ripen and taste best! Do you have a favorite season, Inoue-san?
Paris was beautiful, I'd love to visit again sometime. You are from Japan as well, are you not? Have you done any travelling?
Fresh veggies are wonderful! Oh, it's hard for me to choose. Every season has something fun associated with it. Like fall and jumping into big piles of leaves if you're lucky enough to find them at the park, and winter for building a snowman army, and spring for naps under the trees in the afternoon, and summer for shaved ice! I like them all.
I've traveled a little, but not to other countries. That must have been wonderful! Did you live there or were you visiting?
[ [ Even more so, as Maki receives another letter and reads through it with an excited interest, she thinks she wants to figure out who this girl is. ]
Inoue-san,
Is that fun? Jumping into a pile of leaves? It just sounds like your clothes would get all dirty from them. I've honestly never made a snowman before either, but I've seen them before. I always thought that a strawberry would look better than a carrot as a nose though, I never understood that.
No, I just visited with my parents for vacation. I don't see them much, but we used to go on vacations overseas a lot before I got into high school. If you don't mind saying, where are you from?
It is so much fun! The leaves crunch underneath you and everything smells crisp and nice. Your clothes can get dirty, but you can always wash them. We should try it sometime! I'm sure the leaves will really start falling soon. A strawberry would be so cute! That's a great idea, Nishikino-san.
That sounds exciting! Your parents must have been very important to travel so much. I don't mind at all! I'm from Karakura in Western Tokyo. What about you?

[ She's guessing she's also from Japan, given everything said thus far. And her name. DEFINITELY her name! ]
I'm not sure how that looks fun... but maybe I guess I wouldn't mind trying it sometime.
I guess they might be considered important. They run the Nishikino Family General Hospital here in Tokyo. I live near Akihabara, in one of the older neighborhoods. I'm not sure where Karakura is, but I'm sure you must miss it too, huh?
Really, you don't need to go out of your way for anything like that for me. I don't want to take up your time with something so frivolous...
Honestly, growing up I wish it was less important. All of my classmates called me the Princess of Nishikino Hospital, making it hard for me to make friends.
Not that I don't have any now! I just wanted to try to get away from my parents shadow! But now... I do wish I could see them again.
I've probably written more than you expected to get back by now, I'm sorry for that. But if you'd like, I wouldn't mind getting tea or coffee sometime this week in town. If you're free.
It wouldn't be a problem at all! Of course I wouldn't force you to try it with me, but if you really are interested, I wouldn't mind at all. I think it'd be a lot of fun.
I'm sorry to hear that. You seem like a nice person!
It is hard being away from people you care about. If we work hard together, maybe we can return sooner?
I would really like that! I've been told there are some good cafes around the city, too. There's even one that has blueberry tea!

We should try it together! If you'd like, of course.
That is very important! I've been to Akihabara before, though it's been a while. But yes, I do. Do you miss home too?
Take care,
